This autumn Cimber Sterling will open a direct route to Tel Aviv in Israel. Tel Aviv is Cimber Sterling’s first non-European destination.
Cimber Sterling currently operates to 54 European destinations and, with the additionof Tel Aviv, the company will fly to its first destination beyond European borders.
Cimber Sterling expects that the new service will attract both business travellersand leisure travellers.
”Tel Aviv is a destination that is aimed at both business travellers and leisure travellers throughout Scandinavia. We are the only airline flying from Denmark to Israel during autumn and winter, and we expect that many tourists will want to visit this exciting destination and business travellers will appreciate the direct route," explains Lars Bording, CCO, Executive Vice President of Cimber Sterling. “It’s also arather special destination as it's our very first non-European route.”
The new service from Copenhagen to Tel Aviv will be operated three times weeklywith the inaugural flight taking place on 1 November 2010. Ticket sales begin Monday with prices starting at DKK895.
